ABOUT THE ANTIQUE SILVER REFERENCE LIBRARY DIGITAL BOOK COLLECTION:
Comprising of
over 8,700 pages and 30 rare, privately published and out-of-print
reference books, research manuals and museum works on antique
silver and the silversmith trade. Many of which--thought to be lost
forever--are being
republished here for the first time in over 110 years!
This valuable
collection of antique manuscripts has been meticulously scanned and
digitized from original source documents. This is a
must-have reference source
for any serious collector, dealer or investor in antique silver or
the silversmith arts.
On the secondary book
market, the works included in this collection are
extremely rare and very difficult to locate--costing
hundreds or even thousands of dollars each--if purchased
individually. Many of the books were privately printed in the
late 1800’s and early 1900’s and in
limited quantities
of 175 copies or less for museums and private collectors, making
them virtually impossible to purchase by the average person. The
Antique Silver Reference Library provides the exact same
reference material found in these rare books at a
fraction of the cost,
making them an incredible value…now available for scholars and avid
silver collectors to enjoy.
AMAZING ANTIQUE

ensure the best return on your investment.
The
best places to find and buy antique silver for your growing
collection or later resell at a profit. And it's
not where you might think it is!
How
you can become an antique silver dealer yourself and have a
career that you absolutely love...learn from the antique
dealers from the past who made their full-time living in this
business.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK AND SUCCESS STORIES:
"Hi Rob! How are you today? I was out today looking for
treasures (estate sale and a couple of yard sales)
Didn't find any real treasures , BUT tomorrow I have planned
on hitting several yard sales. I feel the price you
have on your CD is very reasonable. I would have never
known it was available if I hadn't been researching
hallmarks. Well someone invited me to a gold buying party,
they buy silver, gold, gold filled and coins . I took a good
size lot of stuff, the gentleman took time with me
explaining some of the brooches, and other items and how he
makes his money. I became very interested and by the
time the second party rolled around (a month later) I had
been out to all the local sales and auctions picking up gold
and silver pieces. I made over $1200.00. Knowing he
melts down most of it himself and makes charms, but some
pieces he and his wife clean up and resell at jewelry shows.
Also I'm sure he has other folks he buys and sells to. So I
had picked up some old silverware and some older silver
jewelry (which silver is in abundance at yard sales). Some
of the pieces I just wanted to know what they were before I
sold them for scrap weight. Now I could write you a
book now....LOL. The gold man asked me to be a picker for
him and that got me rolling, but now since I'm a little more
knowledgeable I keep some of the nicer pieces for myself to
resell at the flea market for more than scrap prices. My
parents owned an antique shop when I was growing up , I
hated antiques until I was older. My grandmother lived
next door, an antique herself along with her finely
decorated Victorian home. I later realized I have an
eye for collectables so that's my short story. Have a
good evening and thanks for everything!!!"--Annie B.
"Hello Rob,
the Antique Silver Library CD arrived in Dubbo, Australia on
17/07/2010. It will clearly take me a long time to
work through the very interesting content. Regards, Don"--Don
Bates, Australia
"I am a
reseller on ebay and I do estate sales where I list the
better items on ebay giving the customers a better chance to
get top dollar. Long story short, one can never get
enough information on old silver!!! Looking forward to
the CD. Thanks." --Bob Scheibe
"Dear Mr.
Lawrence, I bought your silver cd as my Christmas
present to myself off of eBay. I've used it quite a
bit since. I must admit, that I love being able to
just tote my laptop instead of lugging around all of the
British hallmark books when I go to do insurance appraisals.
(I do insurance/estate appraisals for a living.) I
actually do own quite a few of the books that you copied,
but not having to carry around all that poundage is great.
Overall, I haven't read everything yet, but I am very happy
with the cd and hope that you do something similar for other
categories, in the future. I know that you did some
American silversmith references, but there is no definitive
encompassing record for all American silversmiths for 3
centuries. Just a suggestion. Again, I am glad
that you did the silver cd and look forward to eventually
get your other offerings. Your newsletters are very
good too."--Margaret (Peggy) Basta
"Hi, just
wanted to let you know that I received your CD today and it
is wonderful! There is lots of great reading here,
hours of reading actually it's going take me a while to go
through it all. My husband doesn't like my silver hobby
because he says it costs too much but maybe this will change
his mind. LOL!" -- Debra Bachand
"Dear Rob,
thanks for your update. I recently checked out your CD
library on silver - I had no idea the field was so
extensive! Thanks for all the wisdom and knowledge
imparted. While some of the older references can be a
little slow to plough through, this does not detract from
the information and value they provide. In addition, the
library has opened my mind in different ways to look at what
is around me - old keepsakes at home, items at yard sales,
bargains at markets, store sales - and so on! I used to
think of silver as a 'second cousin' to gold, but I now
realise from your library that silver will always be a
desired commodity in its own right. Thanks for all the
invaluable information provided through your CD library."--Maggie,
Melbourne, Australia
"Hi
Rob, thanks for your E-mail. I am in charge of
Administrative Records and and the care of Archives in my
place of employment. A part of our historical artifacts is
a collection of English antique silver (circa 1770's through
to 1900). I am trying to catalogue these items, so I
am always on the look out for resources that can help me to
provide as accurate description as possible of each piece.
Technically this research is not in my job description, so I
do it in my own time as a "hobby". I have found
your newsletters that come to my E-mail address most
interesting and helpful. All the best."--Scott
(location withheld by request)
"I was able
to identify an old rare piece of silver in my collection
that had been bugging me for years, your cd is worth every
penny and I will be using it on my next buy. If you come
across anything else, I want to hear about it." --
Charlie Larkin
"Rob, I'm very excited to receive your CD, thank you for
putting this together and all the hard work you put into
this. I have been a semi-active silver
collector/dealer for over 12 years and have never seen such
a comprehensive resource. Keep up the good work and
thanks." --Frank Farnuci
